We’re looking for a Junior Sales Representative who’s excited about hospitality, curious about tech, and ready to grow into a commercial role. You’ll be the first point of contact for hotel owners and managers, creating interest, starting conversations, and helping YAYA grow in a fast-moving startup environment.
What you’ll do
As our Junior Sales Representative at YAYA Works, your primary goal is to generate new business and book as many new client meetings as possible. You will work to build awareness and interest among hotel owners and managers through proactive outreach and smart sales efforts.
Your responsibilities include:

Conduct market research to find and analyze potential hotel clients: identify which properties are good prospects, understand their needs, and uncover opportunities

Prospect new leads through cold outreach, including cold calling, cold emailing, and visiting potential customers in person

Reach out to decision makers (hotel owners, general managers, etc.) to introduce YAYA’s offerings and schedule discovery meetings or demonstrations

Support the sales process by helping prepare proposals, quotations, and follow-ups

Follow leads through to meetings by persistently following up, overcoming objections, and ensuring each lead is nurtured until a meeting is booked

Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activity in the CRM, including prospects, outreach attempts, scheduled meetings, and next steps
You’ll learn the sales process hands-on and gain experience in hospitality tech, working closely with our Head of Sales and Operations teams. Your work will directly contribute to YAYA’s growth through new bookings, client relationships, and expanded market reach.
Who you are
You’re energetic, curious, and passionate about both hotels and technology. You may have worked in a hotel or in hospitality tech before and are now ready to turn that experience into a commercial career. You thrive in a fast-growing startup environment where every contribution counts, and you’re eager to roll up your sleeves and help build the company from the ground up.
You bring:

Education or experience in hospitality (Hotelschool or hotel work experience)

1–2 years of sales, support, or customer-facing experience, ideally in hospitality or tech

Experience with cold calling

A basic understanding of hotel systems such as PMS, POS, or channel managers

Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
-
A driven, self-starting mindset with a strong sense of initiative

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Curiosity and eagerness to learn about hotel technology and the startup world
What you’ll get

Base salary between €35,000 and €50,000
