We’re looking for a Account Executive who’s excited about hospitality, curious about tech, and ready to grow into a commercial role. You’ll be the first point of contact for hotel owners and managers, creating interest, starting conversations, and helping YAYA grow in a fast-moving startup environment.

What You’ll Do

As our Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business, existing business, and revenue growth by managing the full sales cycle for YAYA’s digital and holographic reception solutions. You will focus on hotels (up to ~50 rooms and beyond), converting qualified meetings into customers, managing negotiations, and ensuring a strong handover to operations.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Full Sales Cycle & Deal Closing: Manage discovery calls, meetings, proposals, product demonstrations, negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Strategic Growth: Negotiate deals based on a €300 per room per month model and identify, target, and engage decision-makers.
  • Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and grow a healthy sales pipeline while ensuring smooth client handover to Onboarding.
  • Upselling: Identify upsell/cross‑sell opportunities in existing small to mid‑size customer accounts.
  • Product Expertise: Develop deep knowledge of YAYA’s product suite (hardware, software, service packages) and understand integration requirements (PMS, POS, etc.).
  • Market Insight: Monitor industry trends and feed insights back into the product, marketing, and sales strategy.

Who You Are

You’re energetic, curious, and passionate about both hotels and technology. Maybe you’ve worked in a hotel or in hospitality tech before — and now you’re ready to turn that experience into a commercial career.

  • Background: Education or experience with SaaS in hospitality (e.g., Hotelschool, hotel operational roles).
  • Experience: 3-4 years in sales, business development, or a customer‑facing role, ideally within hospitality technology.
  • Technical Savvy: Solid understanding of hotel systems like PMS, POS, and channel managers.
  • Sales Drive: Proven track record in hitting targets through cold outreach and account management.
  • Mentality: A driven, self-starting attitude; you take initiative and own your deals.
  • Languages: Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken) is required.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and relationship-building skills; you know how to connect with decision-makers.

What You’ll Get

  • Base salary: €50,000 – €60,000
  • Bonus plan: Up to €100,000 OTE
